LINTHICUM, Md.—Dialysis Corp. of America said it will develop a new facility in Ohio and has bought the majority interest in another Ohio clinic.
The new facility will open in Delaware County, Ohio, through an affiliation with Riverside Nephrology Associates, a nephrology medical group in the Columbus, Ohio, area.
“We look forward to the opportunity to be working with this outstanding group of physicians as we expand our dialysis programs to serve the people of Delaware County, Ohio,” said Stephen Everett, Dialysis Corp.’s chief executive officer. “This new facility will be our fourth in Ohio and is in line with DCA’s overall development strategy for our Midwest market.”
The company said the new facility will have 12 treatment stations with state-ofthe- art equipment and technology. Dialysis Corp. currently owns or manages 32 freestanding dialysis centers in seven states with three facilities under development in Georgia, South Carolina and Ohio.
In addition to the new facility, Dialysis Corp. also purchased the remaining 60 percent interest in its Bowling Green Ohio center. The company previously had a 40 percent minority ownership.
