MONTREAL—MediSolution Inc. said Dec. 11, 2007, that it has implemented its revenue cycle management system with DVA Laboratories to help with the labs’ complex billing and accounts receivables.
DVA Laboratories is a wholly owned subsidiary of dialysis provider DaVita. In merging multiple billing and accounts receivable systems onto one platform, the new system was required to interface three different patient registration systems, a corporate physician information system, a corporate ordering system and a laboratory system.
"We required a scalable billing system that could handle our high volume and complex billing requirements," said Jason Kotar, director of patient accounting for DVA Laboratories. "MediSolution handily met the challenge, providing us with excellent support throughout the implantation process and a system that was delivered on time and within budget."
