Additional Enhancements
CMS continues to research and implement updates to the CROWNWeb system in an effort to improve the user experience. CMS has added a pagination feature to some of the search results screens to give users the ability to customize the number of patients shown per page, and has worked with the QualityNet help desk to increase the number of agents assisting end users with their calls and emails by 40 percent.
Future enhancements may include extending CROWNWeb’s Time Out clock to allow additional time for those entering data to submit their information and avoid an unexpected automatic system log out.
On August 30, 2012, CMS announced that it has extended the August 31 submission deadline for May, June, July, and August 2012 data to November 30, 2012. Extensions were granted for the subsequent months, September–November 2012.
User Feedback
Many of the changes and enhancements that have been added to CROWNWeb over the years have been based on user feedback. User feedback after the National Release remains vital to the continual success of CROWNWeb. Users are encouraged to provide feedback to CMS regarding their experience, to help make CROWNWeb the most effective and efficient system for all.
