FRANKLIN, Tenn.—National Renal Alliance has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in middle Tennessee, the dialysis provider said Aug. 5. The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce named National renal to its Future 50 list, which is an annual recognition program celebrating the 50 fastest-growing, privately owned companies headquartered in middle Tennessee. The Future 50 winners are selected through a nomination process, which heavily weighs a company’s past and projected revenues, as well as employment growth. To be eligible, companies must be privately owned, headquartered in middle Tennessee, have a 10 or more employees or annual revenue of at least $500,000, and anticipate revenue and employment growth of 10 percent or more per year for the next three years. “This year’s competition was made especially difficult by the high number of applications we received, as a matter of fact, the highest in almost four years,” said Charles Sueing, president of the Sueing Agency, Nationwide Insurance & Financial Services and chairman of the Chamber’s small business council. “It goes to show the strength of these companies, despite the challenges of a less-than-perfect-economy.” National Renal said it has seen an increase in revenue of over 50 percent during the past fiscal year. They anticipate annual growth to continue with the same momentum for the next three years. “We consider it one of the highest honors to be selected to the Future 50,” said Joseph A. Cashia, National Renal founder and CEO. “I believe our steady growth is a testament that we are following our core mission which is to offer the highest standard of patient care.” National Renal, which operates 46 dialysis clinics across the United States, will receive recognition as a Future 50 company in a special section published by The Tennessean and at a reception and awards dinner on Sept. 18.
