House panel approves bills to ease nursing shortage by hiring foreign nurses

A House panel approved bills Aug. 1 that would help ease the U.S. nursing shortage by authorizing 20,000 annual visas for foreign nurses as well as grants for nursing schools to increase enrollment and create training programs. (Read more here)
