Tiny pump could extend lives of kidneys, delay dialysis

Israel-based Nephera Ltd. has developed a tiny pump that is placed next to the kidney through a small incision that could extend the life of failing kidneys and ultimately delay dialysis by boosting the blood flow rate through the diseased organs. (Read story here)
