NICE: New Kidney Cancer Drugs Too Costly

Four kidney cancer treatments were rejected by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE),UK, because the organization claimed the drugs are not cost effective, according to PharmaTimes.

According to redOrbit.com, Avastin, Nexavar, Sutent and Torisel were deemed, under the draft guidance issued by NICE, too costly for the treatment of advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma. (Read more here).
