Forbes recently published an article looking at the trend of home dialysis that is “shaking up the status quo.” More than 300,000 Americans with renal failure trudge to dialysis centers on a rigid thrice-weekly schedule; however, a small group of doctors are allying with medical device firms and arranging dialysis treatment schedules to be followed at home, either in short daily sessions or longer ones overnight.
