CMS CROWNWeb Webinar Set for Aug. 26

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will hold a webinar Thursday Aug. 26 on CROWNWeb with a question-and-answer opportunity for listeners.

The CROWNWeb webinar will be hosted by Jacqueline Abt, who is a nursing information specialist with clinical nursing and management expertise.  She is an informatics liaison to the ESRD project officers/other CMS divisions on both core contract issues and the CROWNWeb data system.

There are sure to be many questions, especially as at least 360 dialysis clinics will be a part of CROWNWeb’s Phase III implementation starting in January 2011.

CMS said if it finds the third round of implementation to be successful, then the agency will target late spring 2011 for the full national release of CROWNWeb.
