CROWNWeb Extends Implementation At Least 3 Weeks

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have extended the CROWNWeb Phase 3 pilot by at least three more weeks, according to a Feb. 29 news announcement of the CROWNWeb website.

"This decision was based on CMS finding during the Pilot, as well as important feedback provided by users," CROWNWeb said on its website. "This extended Pilot period will allow participants to continue to utilize the CROWNWeb system and continue to provide critical feedback to CMS, as well as provide CMS with an extended opportunity to optimize CROWNWeb's readiness for the National Release. At the conclusion of this three-week period, CMS will provide an update to the community on the status and/or scheduled termination date of the Phase III Pilot."
