Home Dialysis
Home Dialysis has been on a steady decline over a good number of years. In the 1970s 40 percent of patients were dialyzing at home and now about 2 percent of patients are. More patients are being diagnosed with CKD but numbers for HHD and PD are declining severely in the United States. This RBT digital issue covers the reason behind the decline, what can and is going on to change this trend and educates those who already know or want to learn more about this broad topic.
