On Wednesday, October 17, the American Kidney Fund hosted fourth its  annual national gala, The Hope Affair. The event celebrated three inspirational individuals whose lives have been impacted by kidney disease. The gala was held at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium and brought together more than 300 guests.

The event raised more than $717,000 for the AKF, the nation's leading source of treatment-related financial assistance to kidney patients.
