NKF of N.C. introduces mobile kidney care unit

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina’s new Kidneyville Cruiser at the Cherokee, N.C., Harrah’s Casino & Hotel is the region’s first interactive mobile health classroom and screening lab.

The cruiser features a natural wellness message aimed at preventing diabetes. The unit will offer free kidney screenings and chronic kidney disease (CKD) awareness programs in 100 counties with the greatest need in North Carolina.
