Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., and Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-24th District, have written to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services administrator Charlene Frizzera, in request that she provide incentives for clinics to use dialysis tests such as those produced by Transonic Systems.
The lawmakers claim that the government should support this type of preventive care and invest in it, according to The Ithaca Journal.
