WASHINGTON—U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials said today that they have approved the first generic versions of drugs that treat hypertension. Losartan potassium tablets and losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are a combination drug that respectively mimic Cozaar and Hyzaar tablets, according to UPI.
