REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—Satellite Laboratory Services has been named one of the “Top Work Places in the Bay Area,” according to an employee-based survey of San Francisco Bay Area companies.

The company provides laboratory testing, electronic record delivery, and reporting and IT services to independent dialysis clinics and hospitals throughout the United States.

"We could not have achieved this without the enthusiastic support of our employees. They are the best at what they do, and make our laboratory, software and services the best within our industry” said Paul Beyer, CEO of Satellite Laboratory Services. “We truly appreciate our staff and feel honored that they feel the same way.”

The survey was initiated and sponsored by the Bay Area News Group, whose newspapers and online products reach more than 2.7 million adults over the course of one week in the San Francisco Bay Area.

“Despite the challenges of the economy, the Bay Area continues to set the standard for progressive companies such as Satellite Laboratory Services, which provide positive, enriching work experiences for their employees,” said Mac Tully, Group Vice President, Bay Area News Group.

The Top Work Places rankings are based on survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Ten large companies, 15 midsize companies and 35 small companies were ranked, with Satellite Laboratory Services ranked in the small company category.

Rankings were calculated purely on the basis of employee responses about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility and values and ethics. Private companies and non-profits as well as publicly held businesses were included in the analysis.
