HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Renal CarePartners announced Nov. 5t that it has opened a new facility in St. Marys, Pa., in partnership with Dr. Ashok Chaddah, Elk Regional Health System and Hamot Medical Center of Erie, PA.
The St. Marys facility is the company’s second facility in the state of Pennsylvania, offering 16 hemodialysis stations, one isolation station and both peritoneal and home dialysis programs. Chaddah is the medical director of the facility.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Elk Regional Health Systems and Hamot Medical Center to bring dialysis services to an area that has a need such as St. Marys,” said Orestes Lugo, Renal CarePartners president and CEO. “Our shared goal is to keep healthcare local, so that patients can receive care in their community, close to their families and homes. Most importantly, we feel very fortunate to be working with Dr. Chaddah, an excellent and extremely patient-focused nephrologist.”

Renal CarePartners focuses on developing new start-up (de novo) treatment facilities in partnership with physicians and also acquires existing dialysis units in all markets. The company has 20 operations in eight with approximately 1,000 patients.

We are in the construction stages for four additional clinics in other states which we expect to open during the first half of 2011.
