Dr. Virginia Broudy is chief of medicine at Harborview Medical Center and professor and vice chair of the department of medicine at the University of Washington. Broudy arrived in Seattle in 1985 and currently lives in the Mount Baker area. Her background is in basic science research, clinical care, and teaching at the medical student, resident and fellow level. Broudy is currently president of the Western Association of Physicians. She is recognized as an outstanding clinician and is named in Seattle Top Doctors and Best Doctors in America. She has made significant contributions to understanding the biology and structure of c-mpl, the thrombopoietin receptor, and the c-kit, the stem cell factor receptor, which led to her election to membership in the American Society for Clinical Investigation.
Kelly Wallace has been senior vice president and chief financial officer at Seattle Children’s since 1995 and has served Children’s in an executive financial management role since 1987. Prior to that time, Wallace was an audit manager specializing in health care at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Seattle. Wallace received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1977, both from the University of Washington.
Robert J. Walerius is a partner at Miller Nash LLP. He has provided legal advice to health care facilities and professionals for more than 30 years. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys. Walerius has been elected by his peers as one of The Best Lawyers in America for more than 15 years, is one of Seattle Magazine’s Top Lawyers, and is a Washington Law & Politics Super Lawyer. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he has lived in Bellevue since 1972.
