“Moving our headquarters to Lund is a natural step for us,” said Ulf Mattsson, CEO of Gambro. “Today, many of our global functions are located in Lund and this move will lead to improved cross-functional collaboration and efficiency improvements.”
The majority of Gambro’s functions, including sales and marketing, R&D and manufacturing, are present at Gambro’s Lund site, which has approx. 800 employees.
The move will affect a total of 19 people in the Stockholm office. Union negotiations have been initiated, and the company expects the Stockholm office to be closed by the end of 2011.
