American Renal Associates Opens 100th Clinic

BEVERLY, Mass.— American Renal Associates announced June 9 that is has opened its 100th dialysis facility. 

The facility, Miami Regional Dialysis Center West, LLC, located in Miami, Fla., is a joint venture between ARA and Greater Miami Nephrology Associates.  The state-of-the art facility has been constructed to accommodate 16 dialysis stations.  Dr. Jose Nieto will serve as the medical director of the facility.  Dialysis provides a life-saving therapy to patients suffering from kidney failure.

“We are thrilled to have reached this milestone in Miami with our physician partners, Greater Miami Nephrology Associates,” President and Co-Founder, Syed Kamal said of the new unit.  “Together with our partners, Miami West will provide high quality dialysis care to the residents of Miami Gardens and the surrounding communities. I’m proud of all that ARA has accomplished as we continue to expand our presence nationwide.  This facility is a welcome addition to the ARA family of dialysis facilities.”

American Renal provides dialysis treatments to over 6,850 patients in 19 states and the District of Columbia in 100 clinics.
