Mar Cor Opens New Colo. Office, Training Center

PLYMOUTH, Minn.—Mar Cor Purification has recently opened a new 4,000-square-foot office and training center in Golden , Colo., which will support the employees and products acquired from Gambro in 2010.

The new 1,000-square-foot training center has capacity to train up to 14 people at a time in a classroom style setting. It has an operating CWP central RO, distribution loop and several WRO and WROH portable RO units.

Mar Cor said te 2-5 day training courses are popular with the users of the CWP & WRO products, with over 250 users expected to be trained this year. Seminars will cover: Water System Components, AAMI Standards & FDA Guidance for Water Treatment Monitoring, Bacterial Treatment Concerns, RO Theory & Fundamentals, Cleaning & Disinfecting Issues and Training in Servicing a Water Treatment System.

In addition to the Colorado facility, Mar Cor also has a training center in its medical device manufacturing facility in Plymouth, Minn., and an online course to help its customers maintain their skill sets for operating water purification equipment.
