Amag Pharmaceuticals Receives Acquisition Offer

LEXINGTON, Mass.—Amag Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a company that makes Feraheme, a treatment for iron deficiency anemia in adults with chronic kidney disease, this week received an unsolicited buyout offer. The offer is from MSMB Capital Management and is worth $381 million, The Boston Globe reported.
