VERNON HILLS, Ill.—Lifeline Vascular Access has reached 500,000 patient encounters in its 66 access centers throughout the country.
The vascular access organization celebrated the milestone with its “Thanks a Half Million” patient-driven campaign that was on display during the American Society of Nephrology “Kidney Week” in Philadelphia Nov. 8-13.
Lifeline Vascular Access provides vascular access management services, and it works with physician practices to develop and manage physician-owned outpatient centers. Lifeline Vascular Access manages centers in 19 states and Puerto Rico.
“We are thrilled by the energy, enthusiasm, and wonderful personal care given to patients by the doctors and staff at our centers leading to this important Lifeline milestone,” said Rich Nee, General Manager at Lifeline. “They are crucial members of our Lifeline team on the ‘front lines’care model and we gratefully acknowledge their high degree of professionalism, motivation, and unparalleled personal service that have earned the trust and confidence of the patients.”
Each Lifeline center was provided with a large poster upon which patients could write their feelings about the care they receive. They also had the option of writing a few words on a sticky note, providing a personal photograph or another creation as a testament to their role in being a part of 500,000 patient encounters.
“Every day, we look forward to providing outstanding service to all of the patients who have entrusted their care to our teams at Lifeline centers,” Nee said. “We’re already excited about reaching toward our next goal of one million patient encounters.”
