JACKSON, Miss.—Alliant Health Solutions and ESRD Network 8 officially merged on December 1 after the boards of directors of both companies unanimously approved the deal.
As a subsidiary of Alliant Health Solutions, Network 8 will retain its identity, with current staff continuing operations from its offices in Jackson, Miss.
“This merger will allow us to continue to improve the quality and experience of care for all kidney patients in the states we serve," said Jerry Fuller, Network 8 Executive Director. "In coming together, both companies will benefit from the wealth of expertise that each has to offer, but the real benefactor will be the patient."
Alliant Health Solutions is a professional services organization.
Network 8 Inc. is the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network contractor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that serves Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
