SALT LAKE CITY―AAPC this week announced the release of a 2012 medical compliance toolkit. The toolkit allows healthcare professionals to create a fast and effective compliance plan for a medical practice covering HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA laws and regulations, the AAPC said.

Some of the new features include:

•              Complete coding and billing compliance plan ready for immediate use

•              2012 ICD-9 and HCPCS Level II updates

•              On-demand HIPAA webinar to train an entire staff

The Toolkit is comprised of more than 600 pages of step-by-step information for healthcare professionals, including compliance officers, billing office managers, and practice managers who are implementing a formal compliance plan.

Through Jan. 31, 2012, the Toolkit is discounted to $169 via the AAPC Physician Services website (www.aapcps.com).
