RIVERSIDE, Calif.―Active Health Foods, Inc., the maker of Active X Energy Bars (an organic, kosher-certified energy bar) announced today that after consultation with medical professionals, it has formulated an energy bar specifically for dialysis patients.
The formula is exclusive and proprietary, the company wrote in a news release. The product is called "The Double Chocolate Chip Bar," and was developed by a nutritionist.

Products from Active Health Foods, Inc., are 100-percent natural, 100-percent organic, and use high-quality natural and raw ingredients, the company reported.
Each energy bar is 1.76 net ounces and comes individually wrapped and placed in a display box that holds 12 bars. The bars are produced locally by a certified-organic food manufacturer, a situation that allows the company to maintain frequent and superior quality control over the production process, Active Health Foods reported.
Active X™ Energy Bars are available through the company's websites, activexbars.com and activehealthfoodsinc.com and will soon be available at retail and wholesale outlets throughout the United States.
