Earn CEs, Attend the AAKP Annual Patient Meeting

TAMPA, Fla.—Health care professionals, including, registered nurses, social workers and registered dietitians, can earn up to 10.5 continuing education (CE) credits by attending the  American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) 39th Annual Patient Meeting, which will take place at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta, on August 9 to 11.

The 2012 AAKP Patient Meeting provides an opportunity for health care professionals to enhance their knowledge and exchange information on best practices, latest research and new trends in treating kidney disease.

Educational sessions include:

  • Food for Thought: Maintaining a Healthy Life through Diet and Nutrition 
  • Innovation in Kidney Disease: A Review of the Advancements in Treatment 
  • Being Diagnosed with a Chronic illness: Maintaining Overall Health and Wellness 
  • Patient Assistance: Understanding Financial Resources

Registration packages for health care professionals start at $220 for AAKP Members which include two days of educational sessions, a tote bag, souvenir t-shirt and admission to the exhibiting hall, welcoming reception, lunch with the experts, annual banquet and the AAKP farewell dinner. One day registrations are also available.
