ELKHART, Ind. — Champion Manufacturing, Inc. is introducing two new stylish upgrades of its popular chair models for health care seating, including eight custom vinyl options that will complement almost any décor.
The Ascent II, along with the Ascent II XL for bariatric seating, features a curved-top seat back for extra headroom, while the “wing-back” design brings a stylish new look to this multi-function chair for patient rooms, oncology, infusion therapies, dialysis, pre/post op and other treatment needs. Both models come with manual- or power-recline options.
Standard features include right and left 180-degree swing-away arms for easy patient transfer and easy infection control, the latter also aided by a quick-release, removable seat. Other standard features are a fold-away side table, push handle, retractable foot tray, four-inch dual thermoplastic casters, and wall-hugger mechanism for infinite recline positions, and thermo-sensitive seat foam.
The Ascent II and Ascent II XL also provide an exceptional menu of options to further customize and adapt the chair for a multitude of situations. These include Trendelenburg position, additional fold away table, cup holders, heat, heat and massage, CAL 133 fire barrier, vinyl upgrades, including Champion non-standard vinyl or customer’s own material, PVC material, antimicrobial material, and dual hand control and battery backup for powered models.
