GLENDALE, Calif.,—It was a star-studded event at the 3rd Annual All-in To Win for Hope Celebrity Poker Tournament held on Saturday, October 6 at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, Calif., benefiting Renal Support Network (RSN) and Love Across the Ocean (LATO) nonprofit charities.
The celebrity tournament was hosted by Event Chairman, Dale Wade Davis (Showtime's "Shameless"), Lori Hartwell (founder and CEO, Renal Support Network [RSN]) and Leyna Nguyen (KCAL9 News Anchor).
Stacy Mobley won the first place prize of $5,000 followed by 2nd place winner, Jeff Strnad who won Angel City Audio/ACA high-quality Trinity Speakers (valued at $2,200), with the 3rd place winner, Rob McConnell, winning a Geronimo's Barbeque for 50 people to include beef ribs, barbeque chicken and all the fixin's (valued at $1,750). Mobley generously donated $500 of his winnings back to the charities.
This year's event featured Jack Black ("Kung Fu Panda"), along with a host of red carpet celebrities including: Cas Anvar ("Diana"), Yancy Arias ("Knight Rider"), Stephen Bishop ("Moneyball"), Brian Brummitt ("Touch"), Stephen Furst ("Animal House"), Kyle Gass (Tenacious D), Kristian Greiff (Mr. Denmark), Dennis Haskins ("Saved by the Bell"), Annie Ilonzeh ("Charlie's Angels"), Brian Krause ("Charmed"), Ali Pucek Leitza (NBC's "Love in the Wild"), Lisa Lents (Ms. Denmark), Ann Lopez (producer), Suzanne Marques (KCBS reporter), Benito Martinez ("Sons of Anarchy"), Donny Most ("Happy Days"), Phillip Palmer (KABC news anchor), Victoria Pratt ("Mutant X"), Joshua Fredric Smith ("Black November"), Carl Weathers ("In the Heat of the Night") and more.
The All-in to Win for Hope Celebrity Poker Tournament was a fun-filled day that presented great prizes, a silent auction, raffles and a dinner buffet as well as offered a chance for players and non-players to mingle and compete against stars from various genres of the entertainment industry.
