SAN DIEGO—Motorcycle riders will join forces with The NephCure Foundation on Saturday, October 27 at the San Diego Harley-Davidson for the inaugural Raffle Ride for NephCure and Harleyween Festival sponsored by San Diego Harley-Davidson and the San Diego Harley Owners Group (HOG).
The day starts with a morning motorcycle ride to raise money and awareness for The NephCure Foundation, which is a national kidney disease non-profit dedicated to funding research and raising awareness in the fight against the devastating kidney disease FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome.
Following the ride is the annual Harleyween Festival for NephCure and the USO. Join us for a barbeque, live band, Halloween games, rock wall, bounce houses and more. Emcee for the event is KBG 101 FM radio personality Clint August.
Over 8,000 people are diagnosed with FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome each year. The cause of these diseases are unknown and there is no cure or effective treatments. FSGS is a leading cause of kidney failure in children.
