Jack Ahern

With offices are located in Chicago and Washington, DC, Jack Ahern provides cutting edge financial and management consulting services to major academic medical centers, large national dialysis organizations, independently owned dialysis facilities, nephrology groups, as well as to legislators, institutional investors, pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufactures. J. Ganesh Bhat, M.D.

Bhat has practiced nephrology for over 20 years and is a founding member of Mattoo and Bhat Medical Associates, P.C., the largest non-university based nephrology practice in New York City. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and has spoken about the new CMS Prospective Payment System on numerous occasions throughout the United States.

Bhat is also a principal of Atlantic Dialysis Management Services, LLC and affiliates, which manages 10 dialysis centers and 4 acute dialysis hospital contracts. He holds medical and post-graduate degrees from Mysore Medical College and Kasturba Medical College in India, and completed a fellowship in nephrology at New York University as well as a post-doctoral fellowship with the New York State Kidney Institute. In addition, Bhat has been principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous renal research projects and is published in the cell biology of kidney disease. He has also held numerous teaching and administrative positions in the New York area.



Mike Burney

Mike has enjoyed over 25 years in the dialysis industry. He leads the laboratory related functions of RAI including Renalab and RAI’s local lab network. Mike most recently served as Vice President at Renal Care Group, Incorporated and where he was responsible for supporting its patients laboratory needs.

Prior to RCG, Mike served 14 years as part of the management team at Dialysis Clinic, Incorporated in various roles including: Assistant Controller; Director of Internal Audit; and Administrator/CEO of DCI Laboratory. Mike holds a BBA degree in Accounting from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, and is a certified public accountant.


Gary L. Cellini, PharmD, MBA

Gary is responsible for payer contracting and relationships, governmental program initiatives and implementation, and strategic planning. Gary is responsible for ensuring Satellite effectively navigates the complex changes the industry faces with health care reform. Before joining Satellite, he worked with Baxter Healthcare, where he managed a nephrologists independent practice association (IPA) and developed a renal disease management program. During a tenure with DaVita, he was the lead executive on the development of CMS’s End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) demonstration projects in California and New York as well as the establishment six Medicare Advantage ESRD Special Need Plans in five states and the District of Colombia. Gary is registered pharmacist with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and Masters of Business Administration from University of California Los Angeles.
